The simultaneous arrival of advanced, high-performance system LSIs has led the evolution in the visual presentation capability for mobile games to a caliber on a par with home video game consoles. Sensing this market trend early on, Acrodea and AZTEQ Mobile have jointly developed the integrated development environment "toolzQit" that delivers a game execution environment dedicated to mobile phone terminals. This current "toolzQit" version constitutes the TC35711XBG, a system LSI developed by Toshiba with advanced and sophisticated 3D graphics performance, game hardware equipped with a high-definition LCD device and control device, and the SDK (software development kit) for developing high-quality, secure, game content. The integrated environment enables the development of game content as if it were being developed on the final handset. The "toolzQit" employs Acrodeaās X-Forge and VIVID UI technologies.
Through the business networks of both companies, Acrodea and AZTEQ Mobile intend to cooperate in global marketing activities for this revolutionary, integrated development environment ātoolzQit.ā AZTEQ Mobile will distribute "toolzQit" to mobile terminal manufacturers, game content developers, and mobile operators.
