Using the video player application provided by Acrodea, a new video streaming service has launched at the official mobile site āDigi Colleā under the operation of GMO Digital Contents Distribution, for enjoying content via Keitai Wi-Fi connectivity from SoftBank Mobile Corporation.
High-volume, long-playing video content playback and storage to SD card enabled
Acrodea has developed this video player software* as a Javaā¢ application (S! Appli) for SoftBank Mobile. Operated by GMO Digital Contents Distribution, the official site āDigi Colleā for enjoying Keitai Wi-Fi content of SoftBank Mobile has adopted the video player application as the Digi Colle Cart Player to play videos streamed on Digi Colle.
With this application, video content unable to be saved because of DRM protection can be saved to the SD card, which eliminates inefficient file splitting. After downloading is completed, playback and viewing at locations outside Wi-Fi range are possible, as well as fast forward and rewind. Content can be played from the desired scene.
*The video format adopts Prime Streaming Movie, licensed from Image Technology, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
