February 19, 2010 (Tokyo, Japan)—Acrodea, Inc. (President: Junya Tsutsumi), headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo has garnered the implementation of its middleware Emoji Lite® as “Emoji Plus” to NTT DoCoMo’s mobile handset “docomo PRO series SH-03B” (made by Sharp), released today.
Acrodea’s Emoji Lite comprises middleware that enables bulk conversion of conventional, plain text to picture-font enriched text with the press of a single key. The feature not only adds picture fonts, but supports HTML email (Deco Mail®) for changes to background color and font size. Since the first handset model in December 2008, Emoji Lite has been implemented to 14 models with the SH-03B released today. Eyeing expanded distribution, Acrodea will be developing upgrades for Emoji LIte that promise to be more entertaining and convenient.
