3D Expressions Supported by Acrodea’s 3D Engine
Since the company’s establishment, Acrodea has developed and supplied VIVID UI, which enables 3D UI content and 3D UI transition effects principally for mobile handsets, and the 3D engine for the X-FORGE® game engine, which enables sophisticated 3D expressions. Recently, domestic and global home electronics manufacturers have developed and released 3D LCDs and television sets supporting 3D displays that employ compatible eyewear. In relation to such hot news items, Acrodea has newly developed a feature that automatically makes VIVID UI content compatible with 3D LCDs. Consequently, user interfaces that “jump out” can be created for 3D-compatible devices. The wealth of experience and technology for 3D engine development maintained at Acrodea since its earliest days has enabled smooth support for stereographic perspectives of content.
3D LCD Support for VIVID UI
This new function of VIVID UI means that content modeled in three dimensions can automatically be adapted to stereographical perspectives. Moreover, ordinary TV screens can enjoy 3D displays that “jump out” for just the menu screens of the user interface, for example. Existing 2D content can adapt to mobile handsets incorporated with 3D LCDs and to stereographic perspectives of 3D television sets employing 3D eyewear. Development will continue for a feature that can automatically make the content appear to “jump out.”
This effort not only encompasses mobile handsets incorporated with 3D LCDs whose development is foreseen, but 3D television sets where growth is also anticipated. Further development of Acrodea UI solutions will continue, along with the promotions for the technology.
