• Can you tell us about your work?

I provide direction on projects, mainly.

• When do you feel a sense of accomplishment?

Although the job is software-related, most of the time I can examine the products on my own. I often equate this experience to manufacturing.
I feel a particular sense of accomplishment, when something finally behaves according to my thinking, after a lot of difficulty making it work.

• Hobbies, Spending Non-Working Days

My goal away from work is broad and light entertainment, so I have many interests. I suppose darts would be the sport to mention, except I’m not improving that much. On my days off from work, I either get lots of sleep, or actively going to events like barbecues. It’s one extreme or the other.

• Can you tell us about your work?

I work on content designing, preparing UI designs, creating illustration materials, editing video, and creating animation.

• When do you feel a sense of accomplishment?

I like the unbounded work environment that allows broad option. I have not been with the company long, so I look forward to feeling a level of accomplishment.

• Obsessions, Spending Non-Working Days

I seem to be stuck on the plum flavor I enjoy plum-flavored and plum-shaped products for eating or drinking. If I find any new candy product using plums, I won’t hesitate to buy it.
I make my own plum-flavored wine. Different combinations of shochu, sake, sugar, etc., completely change the taste—that’s part of the fun.
On holidays, I’m usually out of the house. But if I have no plans, I draw illustrations at home. Since I color them on a PC, my pastime at home is the same as my work at the office.

• Can you tell us about your work?

I present the company’s technologies to mobile telecommunication companies, for instance, and negotiate contracts. My duties involve the advancement of joint development work with alliance partners, too.

People who care about teamwork—since cooperating with engineers in the company is indispensable, and people who can shape new ideas and inspirations

• What is your hobby?

Soccer was a childhood obsession, and I still go to the stadium to watch games. Occasionally, I play futsal for exercise.

• Can you tell us about your work?

So far, I participated in several large projects, and gained a lot of experience. These days, my role is frequently the coordinator. My days are one new experience after the other—in one word, stimulating.

• Message to those thinking of joining the company

I think there are a lot of occasions at Acrodea for people to offer their ideas, if anyone has any. People interested in an overseas assignment may find that opportunity increase, too. The company provides opportunities for any engineer who wishes to improve his skill.

• What is your hobby?

Bicycles. Incidentally, some people here have put together a futsal team, and I played with the group the other day. They are looking for more players!
